I grew up surrounded by art, whether it have been my mother's artwork or pieces that my parents collected. My family always fostered my love of art, and as I got older, this love never faded and eventually I went to Parsons School of Design and go my BFA. After more than a decade in the fashion industry I'm now fully dedicated to my painting.  

While my work is really mixed media, my base is always in acrylic. I first paint in acrylic and then move on to my favorite part of each piece, blinging it up with my signature use of metal leaf )gold, silver, and copper), plenty of glitter, and the occasional faux stone or two.

My inspiration will always and forever be my culture, background, and life experiences. I try to show case my Nicaraguan heritage and my personal history in my artwork whether it be through the subject matter itself or via some print or color reference, etc within the piece.
